About Wingspan

Launched in 2024 in Brussels, Wingspan is a biennial conference for conservationists, scientists, grid operators, renewable developers, engineers and government representatives to share strategies and solutions for a nature-friendly and nature-positive energy transition. Topics designed for an international audience will cover recent scientific knowledge, state-of-the-art conservation strategies, and nature-inclusive technological innovations.

Programme overview

• 2 November: Optional networking dinner
• 3 and 4 November: Main conference with panel discussions, scientific presentations, poster session, vendor fair and networking opportunities.
• 5 November: Field trip excursion
