Tagged Red Kite found dead in Portugal

On the 4th of December one of the Red Kites, which was tagged in the course of the LIFE EUROKITE project was found dead in Portugal. Unfortunately it was not the only one which was found. The next day the area was controlled by the dog unit in a track of approx. 4 km. Unfortunately, 4 more red kites were found deadand, like the day before, the police took them to the laboratory for further examinations.
